Branson

We recently took a weekend mini vacay to one of our fave little spots, Branson! I had lots of questions about our trip so I thought this would be the perfect place to answer those… Branson is about 4 hrs from us and about 20 min or so to Springfield & nestled in the Ozark mountains! We like to make this fun trip once in the summer & once during the Holidays! Along with Seaside, this is a family tradition we have done for years, over 25 years to be exact:) It is absolutely magical during the holidays with all the lights. They also start the holiday season pretty much on Halloween. (Fun fact, one year when the kids were little, we were at their Halloween parties at school and left that afternoon for Branson & it was Christmas there! Thousands of magical twinkle Lights everywhere! Probably a little confused however our kids LOVED it, lol!!!)They do have an awesome fall display as well they just like to start adding the Magic early! So, our fave places are Silver Dollar city, If you love a good theme park that is full of roller coasters, good food, shows, lots of fun, this is your place! They have thousands & thousands of lights during the holidays, talk about magical!!!! Another must go to is Dollys Stampede… If you love some Dolly, great food & a fantastic show, add this to your list! The Branson strip is full of putt putt, go carts, shows, and shopping as well!!! The best way to find a good condo is to check out VRBO for the days you need and look at all the options. We love holidays hills, Hampton Inn, Big Cedar is just a short drive! Hope this helps!
