Chicken Noodle Soup
Okay, this is one of our faves to make all year but especially during the holiday & winter months!!! What I love most about this simple soup is it’s good for the soul.. Something about this just takes me back to my childhood, you know if you started to have the sniffles or a cold. My mom would always make us chicken noodle soup… She served Campbells right out of the can but it was always so good!!! I wanted to do the same for my family, so I learned how to just make all the ingredients and make a “homemade” version… So here’s what I came up with and we have been making it for years and it’s definitely a fave!
Chicken breast slices
Large box Chicken broth
Dice up /Slice Onion
5 Fresh carrots cut into small slices
2-3 small stalks Celery
Egg noodles
Sea salt/cracked pepper
Cook chicken in pan (I use olive oil )
cut into small pieces
In Dutch oven add onion , carrots , celery (add enough water to just cover veggies)boil and simmer until veggies are tender..
Add chicken broth
Chicken
Egg noodles
Sea salt/ pepper
We serve this with Rolls (Rhodes frozen rolls)
Hope you love it !!
