Chicken Pot Pie
Okay, you know I love a simple recipe, right? Well here you go! This is a family fave , and I know you will love it as well!!!!
Chicken Pot Pie Recipe:
•Chicken breast (cooked, cut small pieces)
•1/3 butter
•1/3 cup chopped onion
•2/3 cup flour
•dash Pepper/sea salt
•2 1/4 cups Chicken broth
•1/2 cup milk
•2 cups frozen veges (peas , corn)
•4 fresh carrots, peeled & chopped
•4 pillsbury ready made rolled pie crust
Instructions:
Brown & fully cook your chicken
Add /heat butter to Dutch oven , add carrots & onion cook until they soften .. Add flour , milk, chicken broth, stir until smooth gravy happens .add frozen veggies & chicken ..Bring to simmer ..
Add pie crust to bottom of pot pie .. Adjust to fit your pan (may only need one) .. Add ingredients, then Pie crust to top to cover … make a few small cuts in crust ..
Bake at 425
